Industrial DRM (digital rights management) copy protection systems (such as Adobe Digital Editions) are prohibitively expensive for small stores, while selling through major platforms (Amazon, iTunes, Google) means giving up a substantial portion of your revenue and losing direct contact with your customers. The customer becomes the platform’s customer.

Try it in your own store
If you enjoyed the user experience, try it in your own store. The only technical requirements are that your store be built on WordPress and use WooCommerce, which is standard for small and medium-sized stores.

Pricing
Unbeatable. The first store is free; the license for additional stores (if you have more than one) costs €25.
For each unique customer of your store who uses the Reader, you will have to pay 40 credits, plus 10 credits for each distinct book he purchased. A credit is just €0.01. I.e. a customer buying and downloading 3 books costs just 70 credits, that is, €0.70. The prices are independent of how many times the customer downloads the books. Pay only for what you use, with no long-term contracts. The first 500 credits are free—try it first, then decide.
